Default Can heros bond?

So I'm having somewhat of a trouble with places such as Hidden City of IDK what in HM, and other such places with large groups of djinns.

Thought of using a bonder, since they don't have enchantment removal (the djinns), and wondering if it's doable for a hero. Not that it's a difficult build to run, but my guess is that, if bonding the whole party, he would run out of energy pretty fast too, right? Not only that but he wouldn't give any use to the party most of the time, so I'm wondering, if I put on them a couple of protting skills plus the mantra + signets combo, will they actually cast them without losing all their energy first?

And while we're on it, besides Life Bond and Barrier, what else should be brought?

Thanks in advance.

with bonder builds, if a human can do it a hero can do it.
by that i mean, yes they can run bonders, but if you're expecting them to bond the whole team with life barrier, life bond, and possibly others thats just beyond impossible for anybody.
also, they wont cast the bonds on their own, youll have to disable the skills and micro them onto people. otherwise the ai just stops maintaining the enchants right away.

The way the Hero AI works, the bonder will think you don't need the bonds when you are out of combat. By disabling the maintained enchantments, then casting them manually, your hero will maintain energy with whatever tools you give him.

Now, for your build... Life Barrier is not needed. Just bring [Balthazar's Spirit] (for the bonder only), [Life Bond], [Blessed Signet], [Protective Spirit], [Unyielding Aura], (UA is optional, but is the most godly skill they ever made for lazy monking... note the description is pre-update), [Dismiss Condition], and 2 optional skills. If you look in the mesmer realm, you'll find some useful energy management skills. You also might consider [Mantra of Flame] since the ruby djinn can hit pretty hard, and mantras are a nice source of energy. Also, be sure to set the bonder on "avoid," or you'll often see your team fall like a house of cards.

I don't recommend using a bonder monk because if you're having trouble with djinns I assume the searing flames ones are the most trouble. For those areas you'll need Save Yourselves or at least wards. If you don't have SY, you may need three healer types. Interrupts for the eles, and any skill that provides blocking for the dervish and paragons will help as well..

Yeah, one bonder hero can maintain Life Bond or Life Barrier on the rest of the team, plus another enchant on one or two members, thanks to the magic of Blessed Signet. Don't give him any utility skills, his energy will be dropping like a stone and he'll need all his time to spam Blessed Signet. Make sure you always flag the bonder way outside your aggro circle, ideally close to the edge of the radar, and that he's set to defend, so he doesn't get attacked. As he wont be taking damage feel free to load him up with superior runes. If you need more maintained enchants you can add a second bonder too.
It's a bit gimmicky but works well in areas where there are no enchant strippers; I used it in Tahnnakai Explorable.

Yep heros can bond rather well, you need to disable the bonds and manually cast them, but he will use blessed instantly every time its recharged
